‘RHOBH’ Diana Jenkins Accused of “Stiffing Wages” and Mistreating Employees in New Lawsuit, Alleging “That’s How We Do It in Bosnia”

Just a few days after the news broke about Real Housewives of Beverly Hills newbie Diana Jenkins’ past lawsuit against her former assistant, Hannibal Thomas, who then fired back with claims of his own about Diana’s allegedly hostile work environment, a new lawsuit has just emerged that is eerily similar to his. The new lawsuit was filed just days after the news broke about the previous lawsuit.

According to recently obtained court filings by Radar Online, Diana is being sued by three distinct former employees who allege that she “stuffed them on wages” and did not provide breaks while they worked for her around the clock.

In 2018, employees Griselda Santana, Jorge Ramirez, and Maricela Salazar filed claims against their employer for “failure to pay overtime, failing to offer necessary breaks, and failure to pay earned wages.”

Griselda worked as Diana’s housekeeper from 2014 to 2017, when she was terminated from her position on June 14 of the same year. She received $25 an hour for her work.

From 2015 through 2017, Maricela was employed by the socialite. In 2017, she, too, was let go from her position.

The three individuals asserted that they made a demand, but Diana declined to comply.

According to the allegations made in the lawsuit, “Both Santana and Salazar were expected to work 8 and 9 consecutive workdays per extended work week period during the entirety of their employment with [Jenkins].”

In addition, they stated that Diana did not pay them the overtime compensation that they were entitled to get after working more than 40 hours in a single work week.

In addition to this, Griselda and Maricela claim that Diana’s chief supervisors informed them that they were only allowed to take one hour long break every day for lunch and that they were not permitted to take a “10-minute break” for relaxation.

“Any time that Salazar or Santana attempted to take as a rest break, either before or after the lunch break, was interfered with by either supervisor and violently denied,” the claim stated. “This occurred either before or after the lunch break.”

The two ladies asserted that in addition to being verbally abused and screamed at, they were also searched for whenever it was determined that they were not working hard enough or were out of sight.

When Griselda and Maricela confronted Diana about the severe treatment, she apparently gave a direct response, saying, “This is how we do things in Bosnia.”

Jorge Ramirez, the third defendant, was employed as Diana’s gardener for a number of years – specifically, from the years 2006 to 2014. Eventually, he departed, but he came back to work with Diana during the years 2016 and 2017.

Jorge alleged that Diana did not provide appropriate rest periods and failed to pay salary to the employees.

Jorge demanded $40,000 in outstanding pay and penalties, Griselda asked for $50,000, and Maricela asked for more than $12,000 in compensation.

Diana refuted every accusation and said she had done nothing wrong. After several months had passed, the case was finally dropped.

Fans have already made up their minds to hate on Diana. How many more secrets does the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star have hiding in the attic?

In addition to the cases that were stated before and described above, Diana was accused of initiating police involvement in a “dispute” between herself and a Black security guard in a previous lawsuit.

In the episode of RHOBH that aired this week, Diana said the following about herself: “If you wanted a new villain, here I am.” It’s getting to the point where it sounds like such remarks might actually be taken literally.

Bravo airs new episodes of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills every Wednesday night at 8/7c.
